How do I make homemade wine with the least amount of ingredients?

Posted in: Grape Growing by admin on January 27, 2010

I’m currently overseas and would like to make some homemade wine, or some "hooch." If anyone has a recipe that doesn’t require a lot of resources, that would be awesome.

If men in prison can make wine with apple juice, then you can do it too hunny!

Here is a link to tell you how to make homemade wine.

You need sugar and yeast and whatever else you want it to taste like…..if you don’t have yeast use white bread for the yeast is that basic enough for you?

Ask an ex-con – apparently they know how to make it with sugar, raisins or tomatoes, a ziploc bag and a straw ( to allow for gas to escape during fermentation).

4 12oz.Cans of frozen concentrated fruit juice will make 1 gallon of wine.Grape or orange juice work pretty good. You will also need some wine yeast. If you add extra sugar the wine will be stronger.
