Just FYI, this one isn’t Napa(one of my other club memberships), it’s Amador county, about an hour East of Sacramento..but the David Girard grape stomp is Sunday, August 2. I did it last year and am going back. It was SO much fun!!! Check the prices..Napa will be a lot, but the DG one was only $5 last year for non-members.
Not sure if these stomps are posted on their sites yet…but I put th Happy stomping!

In the fall is when the grapes will be ready to pick and stomp.
Maybe around end of August into September.

Fall. Like, September in most of the Northern Hemisphere.
But I don’t think you can "just go do it"…and, to be sure, I’m not even sure anyone still does it in any of the little European towns…Surely NOT in California! There are laws about feet and hygeine! They use sterile squishing machines!
This isn’t I Love Lucy, you know. Even THAT was 60 years ago!
